How to Implement Your Email Signature
Follow these steps to successfully add your newly generated HTML signature to your email client.
1. Adding the Signature to Gmail
**Copy the Signature:** In the **"Signature Preview"** box, **select and copy the rendered signature** itself (the visible text and logo). For Gmail, pasting the formatted view works best.
**Go to Gmail Settings:** Click the **Settings gear icon** (⚙️) in the top right, then **"See all settings"**.
**Find the Signature Section:** Scroll down to the **"Signature"** section.
**Create/Edit Signature:** Click **"Create new"** or edit an existing one.
**Paste the Signature:** **Paste** the copied signature directly into the text box (Ctrl+V or Cmd+V).
**Set Defaults & Save:** Ensure your new signature is selected for new emails/replies, then click **"Save Changes"** at the bottom.
2. Adding the Signature to Microsoft Outlook
**Outlook Desktop App (Windows/Mac):**
Open **"New Email"** > **Signature** dropdown > **"Signatures..."**.
**Access Folder:** Hold **Ctrl** (Win) or **Option** (Mac) and click **"Signatures..."** again to open the file folder.
**Edit HTML:** Find the signature file with the **`.htm`** or **`.html`** extension. Right-click the file, open it with Notepad/TextEdit, **delete all content**, and **paste the raw HTML code** from the application's **"HTML Code"** box. Save and close.
**Outlook Web (Office 365):**
Go to **Settings** (⚙️) > **Mail** > **Compose and reply**.
In the signature text box, simply **paste the rendered signature** (the content from the Live Preview box) and click **Save**.
